Reddit bought five seconds of Super Bowl ad time across several of the country’s top regional markets in its first-ever television ad.

The micro spot, which was produced by R/GA, featured a simple still screen of a Reddit post against a background of orange with just a few paragraphs of text. In it, Reddit claims it shelled out its “entire marketing budget” on the air time—in a move inspired by the attention the site’s users have received in the past couple weeks.
