NEW YORK WPP Group’s Red Cell confirmed it has acquired Sra. Rushmore bringing to 57 the total number of agencies in its fledgling worldwide network. Terms of the deal were undisclosed.

Founded in October 2000 in Madrid, Spain, the shop is headed by president Roberto Lara, ecd Miguel Garcia Vizcaino and creative director Marta Rico. Eva Gutierrez and Cesar Garcia are general manager and creative director, respectively, and they joined in 2001. The company said senior management would remain intact and report to Red Cell Europe CEO Amanda Walsh, who is based in London.
