Ad agency Square One is moving further into the entertainment field with the production of a behind-the-scenes video of rapper Snoop Dogg.

The video, highlighted by scenes from last year’s “Up in Smoke” tour, will be released this summer, after the agency finishes shooting domestic footage of Snoop.

“We want to show him at home with his wife and kids, shooting baskets, being a dad, something that most people don’t get to see,” said Square Oneprincipal Ernie Capobianco. “We’re sort of giving it a home video feel and putting some original music on it as well.”

Dallas-based Square One, which produces a series of Hispanic radio shows, was selected for the project by itssyndicator, NBG Radio Network, which also carries Snoop’s weekly program.

The agency will continue to be involved as the video goes into distribution, designing packaging and point-of-purchase materialsand providing public relations support.
