Guy Seese can throw back his share of Rainier beers, but he swears he had nothing to do with the remarkable display of boozing that put the Pacific Northwest brand in the national spotlight last week.

As you may have heard, a black bear estimated to be 2 years old was found passed out on the common lawn of a campground at Baker Lake Resort in Washington state, the victim of a few too many Rainiers—36, to be exact, which the animal apparently had clawed open and polished off, in the process passing up a haul of Busch beer that was sitting nearby.
