NEW YORK – Quantum Consumer has been awarded ad duties for the $40 million direct-to-consumer launch of Plavix, a prescription heart attack and stroke preventative, sources said. The brand is co-marketed by Bristol-Myers Squibb and Sanofi.
Quantum, based in Parsippany, N.J., won the account following a review. Other finalists included Robert A. Becker, Bozell Worldwide and Lieber, Levett, Koenig, Farese, Babcock, all in New York. All four shops are currently on BMS’ roster. Becker creates advertising for Plavix aimed at professionals.
