Online media planning and placement firm Qfactor is trimming 22 employees from its payroll, the company said Tuesday.

The Bethesda, Md.-based company, formerly known as Webnet-marketing Inc., said the cuts were prompted by soft advertising and operational efficiencies stemming from new advertising measurement systems.

Qfactor also said it plans to consolidate its three office locations and to further develop database operations.

To remain afloat, Qfactor also anticipates taking on more brick-and-mortar clients this year.

Qfactor posted 20 consecutive quarters of growth in revenue, profitability and client base, said Brayton Johnson, president and CEO.
