Two San Francisco shops were purchased last week by Arnold Communications as the Boston agency seeks to fortify itself in the high-technology arena.
Arnold bought the companies–Rockpile Interactive and Ingalls Moranville Advertising–with an undisclosed amount of cash and stock. Terms of the deal could not be determined at press time. Arnold chairman and chief executive officer Ed Eskandarian estimated combined billings of the two shops at $60 million.
Rockpile will retain its identity and operate as a unit of Arnold Ingalls Moranville.
