Publicis Groupe reported its first-quarter revenue was up 4 percent to approximately $1.14 billion, compared to the same period a year ago. The Paris-based holding company also said it registered $1.5 billion in net new business during the quarter. Key first quarter U.S. wins for its agencies included Bally Total Fitness, EarthLink, Simmons, EchoStar and JPMorgan Chase.

SBC’s Regulatory Request Denied
