Publicis Lands Work On Celebrex

Pfizer last week handed Publicis’ New York office a Celebrex creative assignment, but it has not named a lead agency on the brand despite months of testing concepts from Publicis, TBWA\Chiat\ Day and incumbent J. Walter Thompson, all in New York. Publicis referred calls to Pfizer, which confirmed the assignment. A decision regarding the lead agency on the $80 million account is expected this week, along with decisions in the reviews for Bextra, Zoloft and Zyrtec. Each is a $50-75 million account.
