Premier Retail Networks hired George Giatzis as senior vice president of entertainment sales. Prior to joining the San Francisco-based company, Giatzis was vice president of national advertising sales at Oxygen Media.


NFO WorldGroup in Greenwich named Larry Kinitsky president of its NFO Financial Services research unit. He will oversee business development and will research program design for the division. Kinitsky joins from K Marketing Consultants, where as a principal he oversaw client services and business development in the financial-services sector. He has also held posts with Dime Bancorp, Citibank and Chase Manhattan.


Hill, Holliday, Connors, Cosmopulos tapped three executives from recently closed CreatAbility to head its new Hispanic marketing practice. José Lopez-Varela was appointed vice president and managing director of the division. Alejandro Barreras and Henry Gomez joined the new Fort Lauderdale shop as creative director and planning director, respectively. Both served in the same roles at CreatAbility in Coral Gables. Lopez-Varela, Gomez and Barreras comprised the senior-management team at the shop, working with Hill, Holliday on Hispanic advertising for shared clients that include Dunkin’ Donuts, MetLife and Sprint PCS.


Fallon Worldwide promoted Minneapolis director of production Mark Sitley to director of production, North America. He will be responsible for maintaining broadcast, film and new-media initiatives for Fallon Minneapolis and Fallon New York, and will manage a staff of 90 in seven departments across the two offices. Sitley, 52, joined Fallon in 1999 and has more than 20 years of advertising experience. At Fallon, he has produced campaigns for PBS, United Airlines and BMW, and helped develop BMW Films, the Internet short-film series for BMW of North America. Before Fallon, Sitley was a consultant to New York shops that included J. Walter Thompson, Weiss Whitten (now Brand Architecture) and Ryan Drossman, as well as Dentsu in Tokyo. As a commercial director in New York, Sitley produced ads for American Express, Coca-Cola and Kraft, among others.

Margeotes|Fertitta + Partners promoted Annette Suarez to director of broadcast production. Suarez, 35, began working with the agency as a freelancer in 1996. Prior to Margeotes, Suarez was a producer for Atlanta Olympic Broadcasting during the 1996 Summer Olympic Games. At Margeotes, Suarez has worked on the SunCom, McGraw-Hill, Bacardi, Campbell’s, Godiva, Upromise, Independence Community Bank and Food Network accounts, among others.

New York-based Munn Rabôt named Kimberly Hunt vice president, director of business development, a new post. Hunt, 29, most recently served as new business account director at Saatchi & Saatchi in New York.


Dallas-based The Loomis Agency added 12 new staffers. Mark Hiel was appointed CFO. He formerly was president of a division of American Excelsior, an erosion-control manufacturing company. Melanie Selah arrived as director of media; she joins from Fogarty Klein Monroe’s Dallas office, where she held the same post. The other new hires are production artists Sarah Benson and Rolando Loya, assistant account executives Anna Powe and Kellie McCallister, assistant broadcast negotiators Bari Glover and Ashley Nelson, broadcast producer Molly Brewer, broadcast negotiator Malia Cuban, junior art director Steve Moon and copywriter Johnny Elbow.
