A 50-year-old jingle is being kept afloat in Roto-Rooter’s latest ad campaign—even though it’s a print ad, the plumbing repair com pany’s first in 15 years.
“We found a way to translate the well-known jingle into print,” said Lynn Margason, account group director at Freedman, Gibson & White, the Cincinnati shop that handles Roto-Rooter.
In one execution, the jingle, “Call Roto-Rooter, that’s the name and away go troubles down the drain,” is embossed in looming drops from a leaky faucet.
