PreVision Names Hussey for Strategy

BOSTON PreVision said it has named Philip Hussey vice president and group director of strategic marketing services.

Hussey, 42, will guide the overall development and delivery of strategic marketing services at Lincoln, Mass.-based PreVision, including the management of client relationships, budget allocations, the integration of data into marketing strategies and the development of client projects.

Most recently, he was with Rapp Collins in Dallas as an svp and relationship manager. For the last five years, he managed a team of over 40 professionals serving clients such as JCPenney, Office Depot, SBC, Hyatt, Continental Airlines and SunTrust.

Prior to Rapp Collins, he spent four years at Walt Disney Attractions in Orlando, Fla., where he helped pioneer its CRM, lead generation, and upgrade and cross-sell programs.

At PreVision, Hussey takes over duties from Ed Bahnatka, who has left the agency for a post at biotechnology company Genzyme.

Other PreVision clients include Abbott, Bayer, Pfizer, Talbots and Toys R Us. The agency is a subsidiary of marketing services company Valassis.
