ATLANTA Porter Novelli has named Dan Beeson senior vice president and head of media relations, according to the agency.
Beeson, who has more than 15 years of experience in journalism, politics and media relations, will begin his new role at the Atlanta shop next Monday. He specializes in media planning and placement for regional and national clients, the agency said.
Previously, Beeson was co-founder of GCI Group, also in Atlanta, where he was in charge of the media relations department.
