In 2019, Emily Schildt sought to build the grocery experience of her dreams: Pop Up Grocer, a traveling grocery store that showcases unique and responsibly sourced products.

The goal of Pop Up Grocer is to equitably advertise little-known brands to a community that shares their values and interests. “We constantly have to make sure that what we’re doing is in service to them and never lose sight of that,” Schildt tells host Ian Wishingrad.
