LOS ANGELES Pony International is seeking its first ad agency since departing Omnicom Group’s Goodby, Silverstein & Partners a couple of years ago, said the company’s creative director.

“We’re looking for a small, Los Angeles-area agency with attitude and edge,” said Steve Thompson at the footwear maker’s Santa Barbara, Calif., headquarters. “It would also be great if they had action-sports experience.”

Thompson said the company’s global spend would be about $3 million, but that the review involves creative only.
