As Barcelona’s footballing talisman Lionel Messi was leaving the club he had spent his career playing for to move to Paris Saint Germain, PepsiCo brand Gatorade released a global campaign to act as a poignant coda to his time with his former club and outline his motivations.

Messi, who joined Barcelona at the age of 13 and went on to score 672 goals in 778 games for the club, moved to cash-rich French club Paris Saint Germain on August 10, signing a two-year deal.
