NEW YORK Omnicom’s OMD has won multi-regional media chores on the Sony PlayStation account after a consolidation review, the client has confirmed.

Estimated spending on the assignment is approximately $150 million, per sources.

New markets that OMD will now service include Australia, France, Germany and Italy.

OMD had already handled several markets, including the U.K. Spain, Portugal, Belgium, Holland and Luxembourg. Other incumbents included WPP’s Mindshare, Aegis Groupe’s Carat and Publicis Group’s Starcom.

Domestic media duties were not included in the review.
