The Pinehurst Company, a division of ClubCorp Inc., is holding a review for the consolidated advertising account of four of its five golfing resorts.
Three agencies have been asked to submit ideas for a brand image campaign worth $3 million.
Previously, the resorts–Barton Creek in Austin, Texas; The Homestead in Hot Springs, Va.; Pinehurst in the North Carolina city of the same name; and Daufuskie Island, off Hilton Head, S.C.–have adopted independent advertising strategies.
“We didn’t have consistency in media buying and account servicing,” said Pinehurst senior vice president of marketing Gregg Anderson.
