Philosophy Selects SBI

NEW YORK — Philosophy, a Phoenix-based maker and marketer of medically designed cosmetics and skincare products, has hired SBI and Company to revamp its online presence.

The goal of the new Web site, due out in July, is to increase online and offline sales, according to Ray Reed, vice president of sales and marketing for Philosophy. The site will serve as one piece of an integrated marketing campaign, which also includes in-store appearances, QVC and product sampling.

As a part of the assignment, SBI’s integrated marketing and Web development group is expected to redesign Philosophy’s Web site, as well as add e-commerce and cross-selling functionality. The Salt Lake City-based professional services company will also incorporate a customer registration area and a tell-a-friend e-mail link into the site, which will allow Philosophy to track, retain and build customer relationships.

SBI said it will use findings from a market study, usability audit, analytics audit and technology evaluation to re-engineer the site.
