PGR Adds Tom’s of Maine, 2 Others

BOSTON PGR Media said it has added three new clients to its roster.

The Providence, R.I.-based media company won natural health and beauty product company Tom’s of Maine after a review of undisclosed shops. Online gift retailer RedEnvelope tapped PGR because of the shop’s longstanding relationship with Toth Brand Imaging in Concord, Mass, which handles creative chores for RedEnvelope. Finally, PGR added Digital Federal Credit Union because of its new alliance with Boston-based ad shop Wallwork Curry, which crafts ads for that client.

The clients spend about $1-2 million combined on ads, per Nielsen Monitor-Plus.

“RedEnvelope and Tom’s of Maine are premium brands that fit nicely into our client roster, while our relationship with DCU harnesses our team’s past financial services experience, allowing our company to expand into the banking industry,” said PGR CEO Pattie Garrahy in a statement.

“At Tom’s of Maine, we needed a broadcast-savvy media agency sophisticated enough to target our values-based consumer,” said Matt Chappell, director of consumer development at Tom’s of Maine. “PGR has exceeded our expectations.”

Independent PGR also handles media chores for Bertucci’s, Grolsch and Tommy Hilfiger.
