LOS ANGELES Petsmart has named six semifinalists in the review for the creative portion of its estimated $30 million ad account, according to Select Resources International, the consultancy leading the search.

They are: Omnicom Group’s DDB in San Francisco; WPP Group’s J. Walter Thompson in Chicago; Publicis Groupe’s Publicis & Hal Riney in San Francisco, Leo Burnett in Chicago, and Publicis in Dallas; and independent davidandgoliath in Los Angeles, according to SRI in Santa Monica, Calif.
