NEW YORK Zenith Optimedia Group chief executive John Perriss is leaving the media network, Zenith parent Publicis Groupe has confirmed. The timing is still being determined and Perriss, 55, will assist the company through the transition and will not leave until a successor is named.

Perriss’ pending departure is linked to Publicis’ intent to integrate Zenith Optimedia with its other media company, Starcom MediaVest Group, sources said.

In a statement, Publicis Groupe president and COO Roger Haupt said: “He confided some time ago that he was ready to move on, and he has been working with me to carefully map out a successio plan.”
