BOSTON Avid said it has been hired by Pentax Medical for a print campaign touting the company’s ear, nose and throat division.

The independent agency in East Hartford, Conn., will handle creative executions, media placement, direct mail, collateral materials and public relations chores. Campaign spending will be in the low- to mid-six figures. Print ads in medical journals will target doctors and other healthcare professionals. The tagline: “Solutions today … foundation for tomorrow.”
