Along with its regional food specialities, the South is famous for its hospitality, a fact which two agencies plan to capitalize on in the formation of a new joint venture.
The Baker Agency and Positive Design Concepts, both in Dallas, have launched Southern Hospitality Group to exclusively serve the restaurant and hospitality industries under a single banner.
Baker, a marketing and promotional agency, had previously teamed with architectural and interior design firm Positive Design on a project basis. Southern Hospitality Group’s services will range from space planning, menu design and staff uniforms to marketing campaigns and Web site design and development.
Recent clients include Houlihan’s Restaurant Group of Kansas City, Mo., and the Fort Worth, Texas-based Mexican food chain Pancho’s Mexican Buffet.
