Periscope Marketing Communications, with offices in the shadow of Minneapolis’ Hubert H. Humphrey Metrodome, took advantage of its location for a little self-promotion during the home team’s biggest game of the season.
For the NFC Championship game between the Minnesota Vikings and Atlanta Falcons, the agency hung a 30-foot-long banner on the side of its building. “This is a Vikings fan parking lot. Visiting team fans park at your own risk,” read the purple sign. Under the display was a car with Georgia license plates and Falcons bumper stickers that had been overturned and sprayed with pro-Vikings graffiti.
