International pizza chain Papa John’s has promoted Anne Fischer to chief marketing and digital officer (CMDO). The promotion will see her join the company’s executive leadership team while taking on oversight of brand and advertising, media and field activation as well as menu strategy and product innovation.

Fischer, who was previously the company’s senior vice president of customer experience, will continue to oversee that element alongside her new responsibility for brand marketing. She joined the company over six years ago, initially as senior director of digital marketing, and now will report to Max Wetzel, evp, chief commercial officer.
