ATLANTA Michael Palma has joined BaylessCronin as director of business development, the agency said.

Palma replaces BC president Steve Bowen who, along with executive creative director Jerry Cronin, left the Atlanta shop, a unit of Omnicom’s Merkley Newman Harty & Partners in New York, less than a month ago.

Most recently, Palma, 45, was marketing director at Cole Henderson Drake in Atlanta. He joined the independent shop in January 2002, after almost 10 years as a personnel recruiter in Raleigh, N.C.,
