Palisades Lands $5-6 Mil. Bugle Boy Media Account

Bugle Boy has awarded its $5-6 million media account to Palisades Media Group.
The Santa Monica, Calif., agency will handle strategic planning and media placement for e-commerce and traditional retail efforts on behalf of the casual clothing supplier’s 270-store chain. The account was most recently at Cole & Weber, Portland, Ore., which handled a back-to-school promotion in 1999.
“They are really pushing their e-commerce business,” said agency president/CEO Roger Schaffner, who worked on Bugle Boy media while at ICG, Los Angeles, in the 1990s.
Mercedes Tondre, the agency’s senior vice president of account services, will manage the account.
The Simi Valley, Calif.-based client handles its creative in-house.
