Bozell Worldwide has raised thousands of dollars for the United Way in the past three weeks, all while giving its workers a bit of a break.
Employees at the Southfield, Mich., agency were given the opportunity to donate to the United Way by “purchasing” the Fridays before holiday weekends, dubbed “United Way days.” Skipping work on the Fridays before Memorial Day, the Fourth of July and Labor Day costs employees a minimum of $15 a day, with the money going to the United Way.
