Organic Names Creative Leaders, Opens in L.A.

SAN FRANCISCO Web marketing specialist Organic has made two creative appointments and opened a new office, the company said.

Organic has hired Guthrie Dolin as group creative director in its San Francisco office.

Christian Haas, who has served as a creative director in San Francisco for three years, was promoted to group creative director and will lead online creative operations.

“Guthrie and Christian will provide integral creative leadership for Organic as it continues to experience strong growth,” said Quentin George, vice president and managing director of Organic’s San Francisco office. Both men will report to George.

Dolin, 34, founded three globally recognized design studios and helped launch numerous companies, among them a music label, a restaurant and a sporting goods manufacturer.

With more than 14 years of experience in advertising, Haas, 31, leads online creative work for Organic’s clients including Sprint, Virgin Mobile and DaimlerChrysler. Haas joined Organic in 1998 to establish the Sao Paulo, Brazil, office.

Organic has opened a Los Angeles office, led by George, to serve Southern California clients. The location will pursue media and entertainment business, said Mark Kingdon, Organic’s CEO.
