Orbitz Looks To BBDO For Ideas

Internet discount travel site Orbitz has asked Omnicom’s BBDO Chicago to present ideas for a project, according to sources. The client’s lead agency is WPP’s Young & Rubicam. “Y&R is still a valued partner and continues to be our agency of record,” said a client rep. BBDO and Y&R declined comment. Chicago-based Orbitz spent $25 million on ads from January to October 2004, per Nielsen Monitor-Plus.
