BOSTON Oracle has placed the media portion of its $40-50 million ad account in review, the software company said on Thursday.

Oracle in Redwood Shores, Calif., has hired consulting company Select Resources International in Santa Monica, Calif., to oversee the search, and five-year incumbent MediaCom, a unit of Grey Global Group, will defend, the client said.
