WASHINGTON, D.C. The White House Office of National Drug Control Policy today released a request for proposals for its $145 million anti-drug media campaign, the client said. The account includes media buying and some creative duties.

The one-year contract has four renewal options. ONDCP expects to award the contract by Sept. 30, when its current agreement with the campaign’s lead shop, WPP Group’s Ogilvy & Mather in New York, expires.

Competing shops must already be certified by the General Services Administration that they have a government-approved accounting system in order to bid on the contract.
