British vacation specialist On the Beach has revealed its European growth aspirations while appointing Quiet Storm as its new creative agency to handle its summer 2022 campaign.

The appointment was made following a competitive pitch process by the Manchester, England-based firm which claims to see 60 million website visits each year, helping 1.5 million customers book a beach vacation annually.

On the Beach, which previously worked with Uncommon Studio for its last summer campaign, has briefed Quiet Storm as it aims to become the leading online provider of beach-based trips across Europe.

Sunny prospects

Zoe Harris, chief marketing and customer officer for On the Beach, will oversee the development of the campaign, telling Adweek that the business model was “perfectly positioned” for further expansion into Northern Europe and that the pandemic had given it the opportunity to “re-platform” the site to quickly create and serve “a more diverse set” of beach holidays across audiences...
