Omaze is tapping former Postmates marketing head Eric Edge to be its first-ever CMO as the charity fundraising platform seeks to expand its marketing operations amid a period of rapid growth.

The hire comes months after the site locked down a $30 million Series B funding round last fall to cap off a year in which it claims to have grown by 100% year over year and added to its headcount. Edge, who previously led marketing efforts at Pinterest and Instagram before joining Postmates, will be tasked with upping the company’s investments in mar tech and aiding in international expansion.
