That’s how much attendance jumped recently when a cavern in England renamed itself Devil’s Arse, Ananova reports. Jeremy Gosling, co-director of what was formerly Peak Cavern in Derbyshire, defends the change with gusto, saying it’s more of a reversion than a rebranding. The place, he points out, was known as Devil’s Arse until Victorian times—a cheeky nod to the flatulent sounds its falling waters make.
