NEW YORK OgilvyInteractive North America has hired Eric Wheeler, one of the founders of Lot21, as executive director.

In the newly created post, Wheeler, 34, will oversee operations, strategy and client development for the OgilvyOne unit, which works with clients like American Express, IBM and Kodak, among others. He will partner with Jan Leth, OgilvyInteractive executive creative director, and will report to Carla Hendra, president of WPP Group’s OglivyOne.

“The opportunity for me to partner with Jan and drive this business was a tremendous one,” said Wheeler.
