Ogilvy & Mather in Chicago has promoted Monna O’Brien to executive director of broadcast. O’Brien reports to Joe Sciarrotta, Ogilvy’s co-managing director and executive creative director. “On the TV end, Monna has managed major global productions time and time again, utilizing the latest technology in the field and building relationships with top talent in animation, music, direction and post,” Sciarrotta said in a statement. O’Brien, 47, replaces Ray Lyle, a longtime production leader at Ogilvy who is transitioning into retirement from the agency side of the production business and will look into some new ventures, according to a shop representative.
