Long John Silver’s restaurant chain has reprised the infamous state trooper character in a new national commercial for its 99-cent “Grab and go” sandwich promotion.
The spot (shown here) shows a state trooper pulling into a Long John Silver’s parking lot to give a motorist a speeding ticket.
The accused attempts to talk himself out of it by telling the officer that he didn’t see the cop’s lights because he was entranced by the restaurant sign touting the promotion.
