NYT, NBC Join for '08 Election Coverage

NEW YORK The New York Times Co. and NBC News/msnbc.com said they would collaborate to cover the 2008 presidential election. Starting this week, both will showcase each other’s coverage on their Web sites, in video and in print.

Combined, the two organizations across all platforms reach more than 45 million consumers, the companies said.

As part of the collaboration, msnbc.com will publish political content from NYTimes.com on its Web site. The former will have access to NBC News’ video content for streaming and publishing on NYTimes.com.
