Norwood, Connell To Co-Manage CGN Creative Staff

Mike Connell has been promoted to co-creative director at CGN Marketing & Creative Services.
Connell will manage the department with executive creative director Paul Norwood. The two worked together more than a decade ago at Cabot Advertising, which was bought by Arnold Communications in Boston. Connell left his position as vice president and copywriter at Arnold to join CGN three years ago.
The promotion rewards Connell for elevating the quality of creative work, said CGN chairman Ben Godley. “Mike has really demonstrated great leadership” at the 40-person shop, he said. Connell’s promotion was made as Godley transferred daily operations and his title of chief executive officer to second-in-command Ken Dec [Adweek, Oct. 25].
