A Jeep promotion aimed at videogame players has attracted thousands who are lured by the chance to win a 2003 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon.

PentaMark in Troy, Mich., created the promotion. The game was put together by Terminal Reality in Dallas and is being marketed by Take Two Interactive Software, New York. NVIDIA Corp., Santa Clara, Calif., created the high- power graphics card needed for the game.

Players who register at can maneuver an onscreen Jeep Wrangler through a simple trail. The course leads to the new Rubicon modeland is the first of three contest competition trails.

Other prizes in the promotion include a Jeep mountain bike.

The competitioncontinues through June, when final scores will be tabulated and winners announced.
