No ‘Crying Game’ for Rich

LOS ANGELES – Gerry Rich, senior vp of marketing at Miramax Films since 1992, is joining MGM/UA as executive vp/marketing. At Miramax, Rich handled the highly successful marketing campaign for The Crying Game, developed in-house. MGM executive vp Ashley Boone has handled marketing duties since Greg Morrison left his position as president of marketing in 1992. Boone’s contract with MGM expires at the end of this year. Foote, Cone & Belding/L.A. is MGM’s agency.
