NKH&W last week changed its name to Nicholson Kovac and is launching an employee stock-ownership plan in what executives said is an effort to preserve the shop’s independence. The owners of the Kansas City, Mo., b-to-b specialist, CEO Pete Kovac and evp, chief creative officer Nick Nicholson, will retain their titles. Nicholson Kovac claims about $100 million in annual billings.
