NEW YORK The National Football League has appointed Mark Waller CMO to oversee the NFL brand and integrated marketing efforts.

Waller had served as the league’s svp of marketing since 2006, handling international activities. Prior to that, he was evp of consumer strategy and marketing for North America at spirits company Diageo.

Also this week, the NFL appointed Keith Turner as svp of sales and sponsorship to lead ad sales on NFL Network, NFL.com and NFL Mobile.
