New GM global chief for McCann

DETROIT IPG’s McCann-Erickson has named Detroit managing director Garry Neel to a new position, General Motors worldwide account director. Neel will work closely with John Dooner, chairman and CEO of McCann-Erickson WorldGroup, as well as with GM teams in the 45 countries that McCann has the automaker’s business. Neal will continue to oversee the Detroit office. A McCann rep declined to disclose the agency’s worldwide GM billings.



WPP stands firm on Cordiant Bid
