Winkler Advertising’s principal, Agnieska Winkler, has promoted the agency’s vice president and creative director, Pat Marcoccia, to principal and partner.
Marcoccia joined the agency last summer after departing the San Francisco office of Ketchum Advertising. His new title at Winkler is senior vice president, creative director and principal.
“Pat exhibits extreme integrity,” said Winkler. “He is proactive, and has dramatically raised the quality of this agency’s creativity in the short time he’s been with us. Pat has helped to establish a creative culture [at Winkler].”
Winkler’s partnership move marks another significant event for the San Francisco agency this year. Last month, Grey Ventures in New York acquired an equity stake in the agency, giving Winkler access to Grey’s global resources.
Winkler Advertising will also open a New York office Sept. 1.
