Interactive Chiefs Resort to Bounties, Other Tactics to Lure Staff
BOSTON–Kathy Biro still uses headhunters to find employees for her interactive agency, but lately she’s been relying on a method she finds more effective: offering current employees up to $3,000 for each candidate hired.
“We offer a huge bounty,” admitted Biro, president of Boston-based Strategic Interactive Group, a unit of Bronner Slosberg Humphrey. “We have a much higher success ratio, and it’s a lot more efficient.”
