Netflix has found a formula when it comes to promoting its content in Europe through experiences and stunts that capture media attention and drive word of mouth. With the release of The Harder They Fall earlier in November, the company opened an open-air museum in Paris to celebrate notable Black historical figures.

The Jeymes Samuel-directed, Jay Z-produced Black western, which features performances by Jonathan Majors, Regina King and Idris Elba, is based on real characters from history—despite telling a fictional story.
