LOS ANGELES — After a review that included both incumbents and several other undisclosed shops, NBC has decided to keep its media buying business at its two current media shops, independent Horizon Media, New York and L.A.; and Bcom3’s MediaVest, New York.

The client’s tv advertising, mostly “on-air” spots running on its own networks, and creative, is handled in-house.

“We’ve extended our contracts with our two vendors and we’re very happy with both of them,” said Tina Curran, vp/media for NBC’s in-house shop, the NBC Agency.
